Valley Loop – 54 miles
There are a lot of different ways to create a valley Loop. They all have an abundance of vineyards and beautiful scenery. Road surfaces vary from two-lane low traffic highways to rolling country roads. There are no big climbs here and much of the route is flat but there are parts where you will be treated with a fun rolling roadway. A great pit stop for refreshments and water is the Jimtown Store which you will see just after 22 miles into the ride (the route is shown doubling back after stopping here).
This route is shown starting and finishing at the Healdsburg Plaza. If this looks too tame then check out some of the longer Valley Loops or try the Geysers Loop. The photograph featured here is the Wholer Bridge and is located near the south end of the loop. Crossing this old one-lane bridge is like going back in time.
